- Share facts, data and ideas.
- Use lots of Scientific language when we explain our ideas.
- Carry out our own investigations to collect results using different equipment- including ICT.
- Know about life processes
- Know about materials, electricity, light, sound and forces.
- Know about the solar system, including Earth.
I am thrilled to announce the date for this year's Science week is 23rd- 27th March.
The theme of this week has yet to be revealed but Miss Bridges is planning even more bangs and experiments than last year. Keep looking back to find out more…
Science week this year went with a bang! The theme of the week was the 'rainforest', with children from Nursery- year 6 really getting into the spirit and learning about a wide range of Scientific areas. Children were taught to use their Scientific skills of planning, prediction, experimenting and concluding when exploring elements of the rainforest. All of this came to a close on the Friday with an exciting visit from Boffin John! Have a look in the gallery to see some pictures of the time he spent with us. Also it was a pleasure to have parents join us in the afternoon at the Science fair, where the children shared their learning.
After all this excitement it was great to see we made it into the local papers!

Well done to all of the children that participated in the rainforest Science challenge. All of the children used their knowledge of the properties of materials to design a suitable outfit for a rainforest explorer.
And a big well done- to this years winners!
